Community Business Series: Demystifying Grants

Maeva's Coffee is excited to host Micki Vandeloo as part of our Community Business Series!

Micki Vandeloo, GPC, is a grant professional with over 10 years of experience in grant writing and 25 years in manufacturing.  Her efforts have resulted in more than $4 million for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Join us Sunday, November 23rd from 3-5pm at Maeva's Coffee for her class on demystifying the grant process! In this class, you will learn:

  • What grants are (and are not)
  • What types of projects and companies get funded
  • The grant planning, research and application process.
  • Grant writing tips and tricks
  • Resources to help you find the perfect grant and get funded

Micki, author of "THE For-Profit Grant Writing Guide", is passionate about leveling the playing field to provide all companies the resources to be able to access grant funding.  She is also deeply committed to the grant profession, and recently received the 2014 Pauline G. Annarino Award from the Grant Professionals Certification Institute for her commitment to advancing the grant profession as an integral part of society.

Micki is excited to share the good word about grant funding and will provide honest (and maybe humorous) answers to your grant funding questions! Class size is limited to 10 participants so that you have the opportunity to ask Micki questions specific to your business' needs.

Course cost is $40.
