Community Business Series: A Business Woman's Guide to Everyday Make Up

Meredith notes:

Okay- you're a brilliant professional with all of the right ideas in all the right places. Handling a business lifestyle can be intense, and us ladies don't always know how to best use our limited time to take care of ourselves. When I realized I was nearly thirty and still didn't know how to wear eye shadow without looking like a raccoon- I knew one of the first community business classes we needed to host was an everyday business make up guide.

I needed to find someone who wasn't going to come in and try to sell me on sexy red lips and glitter. Someone who understands that I have, at max, fifteen minutes to spend on my face and hair in the morning before I'm urgently needed for something or another. I needed someone who could teach me what products to use, how to use them, and how to look my best on a 6-hours-of-sleep-working-constantly lifestyle. Thankfully, we have a brilliant licensed esthetician and make up artist right here in Alton who graciously agreed to give such a class.

This 2.5 hour class will cover:

The Guide to a Flawless Everyday Face

The Importance of Skincare

Styling Eyes

Choosing a Foundation for your Skin Type

Basic Highlighting and Contouring

Choosing Lip Colors

How to Transition from a Day to Evening Look

Participants are encouraged to bring in their make up bag so that Kendelle can assess what you already have (and make sure it hasn't gone bad) and show you how to use it. She will have Glo Mineral Makeup and RX Systems (skincare) available to purchase- but this class is ABSOLUTELY NOT about selling you stuff. This is a no pressure, personal consulting class that will show you how to get a fresh, clean, everyday awesome look to compliment your inner brilliance.

Class size is limited to 10 participants so you receive personalized advice for your specific needs.
